值了一天的班，打开电脑看见的却是新浪搜狐博客首页醒目的“LiXX打人事件云云”的大标题——八卦吧两大门户“和谐统一”了起来！还是八卦力量大啊！

这么热的天，灾区的人的日子恐怕是更难过了吧？电视报道不止一次说，帐篷里的温度高达摄氏40度！而我，今天上午，坐在宽敞的校办室里，灵魂已经被蒸发掉，呆呆的从10楼望下去，看着铺满花里胡哨的大理石的不喷水的喷泉池子，视线越来越模糊......

装上轮椅的小白，跟着志愿者一步一步学着行走。七月流火，从热腾腾的成都市区出发向南，七弯八拐到近郊双流县彭镇一个叫柑梓的村庄。在村口，循着不绝于耳的犬吠再往里走不到一公里，对了，声音就是从这间农舍里传出来的。这里就是“爱之家”。

得个小毛小病的，工作人员都是自己搞定。“爱之家”的全名是成都爱之家小动物救助中心，一个始建于2005年的民间自发救助组织，目的是“关爱与救助需要帮助的小动物”，连创办人陈运莲女士在内，目前共有9名工作人员。如今，爱之家收治的流浪猫狗总数已经超过1000只；其中，有300多只猫狗来自四川地震灾区，它们没有被人遗忘，在这里渐渐康复。

工作人员在帮狗“剃头”。酷暑逼人，狗狗的日常卫生护理变得繁重。地震走了“震来”们来了四川发生“5·12”地震后第9天，由“爱之家”发起组成的志愿者搜救队，先后深入北川、都江堰、青川、广元、彭州等灾区，在余震随时可能袭来的废墟中展开搜救工作。历时一个多月，共有150多只失去家园的猫狗被救，另有300多只因灾被主人送来“爱之家”代养。

老范在做灾后训练，其他狗则对他手中的火腿肠垂涎三尺。兽医小李介绍，从灾区来的猫狗，先要进行隔离、观察，注射疫苗，有伤残的话还要进行治疗。由于体质虚弱，“伤员”的伙食也要特别配制，增加营养以更快恢复。不远处，一间新的医疗室正在建设。

受到地震创伤的小动物情绪容易紧张。经历了家园被毁和主人离去，小动物心里受到的创伤更大，“刚来的时候，它们眼神忧郁、恐惧和紧张，喜欢独自躲在角落里。”另一位工作人员杨姨回忆说，“要产生安全感，就要每天和它们摆龙门阵，经常轻轻抚摸，像对待小娃娃一样。”一段时间后，它们开始对人摇尾巴表示亲近，眼神也变了。

西西独自躺墙角，伤残狗有时显得忧郁、孤独。余震、震来、来路、四点七……工作人员帮每只狗起了生动的名字，这些天送来的狗实在太多，有的还来不及起。

黑妹，路还很长。断腿狗的“宝马车队”看到伤残狗只能拖着整个下半身，缓慢艰难地挪动，志愿者“小财神”给后腿伤残的狗狗做了特别的轮椅，大家戏称它们为“宝马车队”。装上轮椅后，狗狗又能重拾奔跑的快乐。尤其小宝，跑起来一溜烟得快。“不管有多辛苦，看到小家伙们活蹦乱跳的样子，就没什么了”，来“爱之家”时间最久的老范说，除了喂食，他还负责伤残狗的恢复训练。

周末，很多成都的靓女来看望小动物，带来食物、药品和爱心。酷暑逼人，工作人员正在利用午休时间帮长毛的狗狗“理发”。狗多人少，日常卫生护理变得异常繁重，为了减少皮肤病感染机会只有出此下策。特别是有媒体关注以后，越来越多的猫狗被送来“爱之家”，接纳能力早已饱和，经济上更是不堪重负。

成都的王女士和丑丑分别时依依不舍。早上打开大门，经常可以看到被人悄悄放在门口的小动物。“如果拒绝，注定会悲惨地死去。看到它们可怜的眼神，我心就软了。”陈运莲说，“来这儿的猫狗背后都有一个凄凉的故事，进了门，至少能保证吃饱睡好。”对于她来说，“不抛弃”的信念一直坚持了十年，“这些猫猫狗狗就是我的儿女，是我最大的财产。”这也是陈运莲十年来最大的欣慰。对于流浪猫狗和“爱之家”，同样，路还很长。

　　The best friend a man has in the world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son or daughter that he has reared with loving care may prove ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name may become traitors to their faith.

The money that a man has, he may lose. It flies away from him, perhaps when he needs it most. A man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill-considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees to do us honor when success is with us, may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our heads.

The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous is his dog. A man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer.

He will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounters with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wings, and reputation falls to pieces, he is as constant in his love as the sun in its journey through the heavens.

If fortune drives the master forth, an outcast in the world, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him, to guard him against danger, to fight against his enemies. And when the last scene of all comes, and death takes his master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by the graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws, his eyes sad, but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even in death.
